About The Position

The Metal Shop Worker will operate a roll former and trim machine for metal. The role involves ensuring all manufactured pieces are suitable for shipment. A strong work ethic and the ability to remain on your feet for most of the day are essential.

Requirements

• Must possess strong work ethic and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work with constantly changing priorities, with enthusiasm.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and effective problem-solving skills within the scope of the position.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up the machines to perform the needed task for the order needing to be manufactured.
• Verifies that the order has been completed and inspects to make sure it is free from defect.
• Bundles or wraps the order to be shipped or picked up.
• Ability to stand or walk on concrete floor for 8+ hours.
• Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures.
• Ability to work with hands.
• Safety awareness of anything in the shop that may be hazardous to employees or visitors.
• Additional duties, as assigned.
