About The Position

The Metal & Inventory Manager’s primary purpose is to strategically manage the procurement and inflow of raw materials (primary metal, rolling ingot, scrap, RSI) into the plant in a way that ensures on-time casting and hot rolling of customer orders, manages the risk of material supply shortages for Casting and Hot Rolling departments, controls plant-wide metal inventory (working capital minimization), and minimizes metal costs by minimizing the usage of primary metal and maximizing the usage of 3rd party scrap.
