About The Position

Oregon Metal Fabrication is a fabrication shop with a 20-year reputation for quality, specializing in industrial and commercial fabrication. Projects range from small components to heavy structural steel. The shop prides itself on its work, continually innovating and improving its manufacturing and fabrication processes. The environment balances an enjoyable atmosphere with a fast-paced workflow. We are currently expanding operations and seeking experienced metal fabricators for a full-time position with potential for overtime based on workload.

Requirements

• Experience in both fitting and welding
• Professionalism, reliability, and efficiency in completing work
• Attention to detail and ability to layout per provided prints
• Pride in work, seeking quality and precision with every task
• Ability to manage workflow and correct procedures to ensure quality
• GMAW, FCAW, GTAW (optional)
• Cutting operations (Oxy / Plasma / Carbon Arc)
• Hand tools (grinder, drill, mag drill, etc.)
• Rigging and overhead crane operations
• Layout, fitting, and fixture building for repeatable assembly
• Determining optimal weld procedures

Responsibilities

• Fitting and welding
