Metabolic Geneticist Physician Opportunity in North Texas
About The Position
Cook Children's Healthcare System, based in Fort Worth, Texas, has an exciting opportunity for a Metabolic Geneticist to join its Department of Genetics. Cook Children’s Health Care System is one of the country’s leading free-standing integrated pediatric health care systems. Cook Children’s records approximately one million patient encounters each year through its medical center, specialty and primary care offices, neighborhood clinics, outpatient settings and home health visits.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) required.
- Must have successfully completed an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Medical Association (AMA) approved residency and fellowship and Board certified/Board Eligible in medical or medical biochemical genetics.
- Unrestricted Texas Medical license (must obtain prior to start date).
- American Heart Association BLS
Responsibilities
- Close involvement with the Texas newborn screening program.
- Research and teaching interests can be supported, if desired.
