About The Position

The Condado Collection is a collection of hospitality properties in Puerto Rico, ranging from classic and modern luxury hotels to restaurants and entertainment. Requirements

  • Hospitality-oriented
  • Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a similar role in a Fine Dining environment
  • Ability to handle difficult situations effectively
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently, especially under pressure
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Fully bilingual (Spanish and English).

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to restaurant standards, anticipating and attending to guest service needs.
  • Serve food and beverage orders to all guests.
  • Complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, turn in all receipts, and ensure proper cash handling.
  • Anticipate and communicate restocking and supply needs.
  • Knowledge of Service Steps (Fine Dining Standards).
  • Ensure the security of all liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.
  • Complete closing duties.
  • Prepare and maintain cleanliness and condition of the service area and restaurant.
  • Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards.
  • Review assigned station prior to opening for cleanliness of tables and chairs, and proper setup of table items.
  • Have the necessary equipment to work: tray, pen, corkscrew, etc.
  • Know all menu items, their garnishes, contents, and preparation methods.
  • Be prepared to answer guest questions about the menu accurately and concisely.
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to supervisor.
  • Complete safety training and certifications.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to achieve common goals.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Perform other reasonable tasks as requested by supervisors.
