About The Position

The M&A Integration Manager will be responsible for driving successful M&A integrations through detailed process assessment, system harmonization, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. The ideal candidate has deep hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud and a proven track record of leading accounting-focused integrations following acquisitions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or CPA preferred)
  • 6+ years of experience in M&A integrations, post-merger integration (PMI), or accounting process optimization, with at least 4+ years of hands-on experience working with SAP S/4HANA Cloud (or SAP ECC with strong S/4HANA migration experience)
  • Proven expertise leading accounting system integrations and process harmonization following acquisitions
  • Extensive practical experience configuring, optimizing, and integrating accounting processes within SAP S/4HANA Cloud
  • Strong background in SAP modules relevant to accounting and finance: FI (Financial Accounting), CO (Controlling), and integration with MM/SD
  • Demonstrated success delivering complex integration projects with measurable financial and operational impact
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, advanced Excel)

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end post-acquisition integration initiatives from an accounting and process perspective
  • Work directly with acquired companies’ finance and operations teams to understand their current accounting processes, systems, controls, and reporting structures
  • Assess and map acquired companies’ accounting systems and processes to Solaris’ SAP S/4HANA Cloud environment
  • Drive the integration of acquired accounting systems into SAP S/4HANA Cloud, including data migration, system configuration, interface development, and testing
  • Harmonize and standardize accounting processes (record-to-report, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, etc.) across the combined organization
  • Identify, evaluate, and integrate non-accounting processes (operations, supply chain, HR, IT, compliance, etc.) into Solaris’ standard operating framework
  • Develop detailed integration project plans, timelines, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops with acquired company personnel and Solaris teams to align processes with company standards and SAP best practices
  • Partner with internal process owners to execute integration of recommended action plans and ensure timely adoption
  • Monitor post-integration performance, identify gaps, and implement continuous improvement measures
  • Support change management efforts to drive successful adoption of new processes and SAP-enabled workflows
  • Collaborate with external consultants, auditors, and internal stakeholders to review integration progress and resolve issues
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements throughout the integration process
  • Deliver measurable ROI through efficient integrations that enhance financial reporting accuracy and operational efficiency
