This job is responsible for being the primary provider of dedicated coverage to clients in the BB, GCB and GCBK portfolios. Key responsibilities include leading client call planning and preparation, facilitating client implementation processes, and leading on-going sales routines with established clients (ex. Merchant reviews). Job expectations include understanding and analyzing industry trends and effectively positioning products and services to drive operational efficiencies to help maximize cross sales opportunities.

Requirements

  • Ability to establish connections and grow business
  • Resolve client issues through a white glove approach
  • Thorough understanding of product suite and solutions
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and clearly articulate Merchant Services pricing concepts
  • Business acumen: Industry knowledge in healthcare, retail, restaurant, business to business and ISV
  • Minimum of five years of Merchant Services experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, proactively manage a portfolio of client relationships, and identify opportunities to advance client needs, casework, and business objectives with limited direction

  • Previous Account Management experience
  • 2 to 4+ years of sales experience
  • Ability to create and identify reporting to establish trends and present to senior leaders

Responsibilities

  • Partners with the Merchant Specialist and bank client teams by proactively developing an account plan for each client within assigned portfolio
  • Influences and guides decision making within the clients organization
  • Prepares and submits applicable implementation/projects and provides oversight of critical projects to ensure overall client satisfaction
  • Assists in contract renewals and pricing
  • Identifies opportunities proactively and develops a pipeline for sales opportunities through inbound and self-scheduled outbound calling activities
  • Drives toward sales and revenue goals while balancing operational excellence, risk management, and client experience expectations
  • Collaborates with internal partners and clients to determine payment processing needs and acts as a champion for clients by connecting expertise across the company to help achieve their goals
  • Adapts to an ever-changing payment processing environment, maintains accurate records, and adheres to Service Level Agreements
