About The Position

Great Lakes Wine & Spirits is seeking a Merchandising Swing Representative for its Retail Chain Sales Division. This role will service multiple accounts in and surrounding Allen Park. The Merchandising Swing Rep is responsible for the timely stocking and product handling of all GLWAS merchandise shipped to assigned retail accounts. This includes packing out orders, pricing bottles, building displays, resetting shelf and cold box schematics, implementing correct signage, product rotation, fronting, dusting, and maintaining shelf and housekeeping standards. The position also involves generating positive business relationships with account management, understanding and executing merchandising standards, ensuring correct pricing and signage, and maintaining POS materials. The role requires maintaining and using reports, forms, and pre-plans.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 21 years
• High School Diploma/GED
• Basic competency with basic iOS devices
• A valid driver's license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the employee policy manual and any applicable contracts, signed agreements, and work rules.
• Cooperates with all management and staff of GLWAS.
• Follows all MLCC rules and regulations, as they apply to the position.
• Use alcohol in a responsible manner when related to business activities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain good product knowledge on all GLWAS brands.
• Understanding and execution of shelf, display, and cold box standards.
• Ensure all shelf price tags are correct and in place.
• Ensure all display prices are correct and placed with current pricing.
• Maintain and place all current POS for all products.
• Maintain and use reports, forms, and pre-plans.
