About The Position

The Merchandising Specialist keeps the front sales floor and showroom stocked, fronted, and clean. The role includes preparing merchandise for sale, greeting customers, and maintaining a professional and inviting retail showroom. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to clearly read and write and match numbers and letters from various sources.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous stocking experience.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
• Fluency in multiple languages; Spanish is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers on the sales floor, help them locate merchandise, or direct them to a parts specialist when they need hard parts.
• Check in, price, and put up stock.
• Keep merchandise on the display floor fronted and fully stocked, and complete daily O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities.
• Change displays according to company guidelines, update planograms, change price labels, and ensure sale signs are in place.
• Remove sale materials when a sale ends and restore original pricing.
• Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
• Work with the manager to complete weekly store inventory and merchandising tasks.
• Occasionally serve as a cashier or drive a delivery vehicle to make deliveries when business needs require; driving eligibility requirements apply.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
