About The Position

As a Lowe's Merchandising Services Associate, you connect Merchandising and Store Operations to help deliver a great shopping experience. You build eye-catching displays and implement merchandising strategies that showcase products. You ensure store signage, pricing information, and displays are accurate, safe, clean, visually appealing, and accessible to customers. Most work does not involve customer interaction, but you may listen to customers, answer questions, communicate product or warranty information, and help locate or handle merchandise.

The role follows a set weekday schedule, and the posting says Live Nursery MST Associates may be required to work weekend shifts. Regular travel is not required, though occasional travel to meetings, training, or neighboring stores may be needed. Working conditions may include indoor and outdoor environments, extreme temperatures, wet or humid conditions, wind or drafts, noise, and moving or shaking objects and equipment. Associates must follow lifting guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds; team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed. Requirements

• Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
• Ability to hear, listen, and communicate verbally with others.
• Ability to use web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds unassisted, or more than 25 pounds with or without accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• Lowe's sales floor experience.
• Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays.
• Experience operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.

Responsibilities

• Complete merchandising resets and service-related projects according to Lowe's specifications, and provide proof of completion for assigned tasks.
• Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepared, and ready for shipping.
• Update and validate wayfinding and product-location signage, including maintaining this information digitally throughout the store.
• Confirm product pricing is clearly visible and replace missing price labels.
• Help drive add-on sales by staging clearance products, sorting products into proper locations, and placing displays appropriately throughout the store.
• Repair or replace damaged or missing signage, merchandise, and displays.
• Communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs with the Merchandising Services Team and Manager.
• Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
• When opportunities arise, engage with customers, answer questions, communicate product or warranty information, and assist with locating or handling merchandise.
