About The Position

This 10-week internship program is designed to be a game-changing first step in kicking off a career in merchandising. Interns will develop their skills alongside a team of supportive mentors and inspiring leaders. Merchandising blends creativity, analytics, and marketing to drive customer engagement and profitability. As an intern, you will work closely with a team for a specific category (e.g., furniture, tabletop, bath) to gain behind-the-scenes insight on how they create product strategies, manage pricing, and interpret data. This information will be used to develop new product recommendations.

Requirements

Currently in your junior year of an undergraduate program.
Minimum GPA of 3.5.
Able to work onsite at one of our brands in Portland.
Know how to prioritize and move quickly to react to our ever-changing business.
Think strategically and critically to solve problems.
Have Excel experience: vlooks-ups, pivot tables, etc…

Nice To Haves

Passionate about product, home decor, and retail.
Keep up with home design trends.

Responsibilities

Develop new product recommendations based on category insights, pricing strategies, and data interpretation.
Gain behind-the-scenes insight into product strategies, pricing management, and data interpretation within a specific category.
