2027 Inventory Management Internship - Portland
About The Position
We are seeking agile and innovative inventory planners for a 10-week program designed to be a game-changing first step in their career journey. Interns will develop their skills alongside supportive mentors and inspiring leaders. The inventory team ensures the right products are available for the customer. As an intern, you will work closely with a team for a specific category (e.g., furniture, tabletop, bath) to gain behind-the-scenes insight on how forecasting tools are used to optimize inventory flow, drive margin, and support top-line sales. You will use this information to identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve future inventory needs.
Requirements
- Data and deadlines drive decision making.
- Think strategically and critically to solve problems.
- Excel experience: vlooks-ups, pivot tables, etc.
- Currently in your junior year of an undergraduate program.
- Minimum GPA of 3.5.
- Able to work onsite at Rejuvenation in Portland.
- Know how to prioritize and move quickly to react to our ever-changing business.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with a team for a specific category to gain insight on inventory management.
- Utilize forecasting tools to optimize inventory flow, drive margin, and support sales.
- Identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve future inventory needs.
- Lead projects and gain experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Pioneer a new idea and present it to the executive leadership team.
