2027 Inventory Management Internship - Brooklyn
About The Position
This 10-week internship program is designed to be a game-changing first step in kicking off a career journey in inventory planning. Interns will develop their skills alongside a team of supportive mentors and inspiring leaders. The inventory team ensures that the right products are available for the customer. As an intern, you will work closely with a team for a specific category (e.g., furniture, tabletop, bath) to gain behind-the-scenes insight on how forecasting tools are used to optimize inventory flow, drive margin, and support top-line sales. You will use this information to identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve future inventory needs.
Requirements
- Currently in your junior year of an undergraduate program.
- Minimum GPA of 3.5.
- Able to work onsite at West Elm in Brooklyn.
- Excel experience: vlooks-ups, pivot tables, etc.
- Data and deadlines drive your decision making.
- Think strategically and critically to solve problems.
- Know how to prioritize and move quickly to react to our ever-changing business.
Responsibilities
