As a Merchandising Assistant, you are responsible for supporting the Merchandising Team with the implementation of billings, cost changes, customer support, and data integrity review. This role involves coordinating customer contracts by monitoring all outbound costs to customers, working with the manufacturing community to ensure competitive pricing, and managing regional brackets and exceptions. You will also coordinate future price increases and decreases, ensure upcoming deals, off invoices, and customized pricing are accurately entered, and monitor weekly billings including flyers, bottle deposits, and customized p-deals. Additionally, you will monitor and communicate item and vendor attributes for incorrect setups to ensure high data quality and proper order flow. This position requires daily communication with customers, overseeing the tracking of new item progress, and reviewing cost compare reports to ensure pricing consistency. You will also run sales reporting to validate credits and rebills, and understand cost mismatches between C&S and customers. Finally, you will support at least one merchandiser with their weekly tasks, including gross profit analysis and the generation of merchandising and marketing plans for the East Coast independent base.
