About The Position

Canada Dry, a member of the Honickman Companies, is hiring a self-motivated, detail-oriented team player to join its beverage-industry team at its Springfield, Virginia facility. The Merchandiser contributes to sales objectives by merchandising and servicing assigned customer accounts and completing related duties. The position pays $19.20 per hour, with the opportunity for overtime and holiday premium pay. Actual duties and working conditions may vary.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or equivalent.
Maintain a valid driver's license.
Have a personal vehicle.
Two years of merchandising, sales, and/or customer-contact experience.
Experience or ability to use office equipment, including a computer, phone, fax machine, copier, and calculator.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

Clean shelving, rotate products, and verify correct shelf prices.
Build, merchandise, and maintain secondary and promotional displays according to company standards.
Merchandise and fill coolers, vendors, and racks to standard on each visit, where applicable.
Visit each account as scheduled and build and maintain rapport with account contacts.
Manage, rotate, and maintain back stock where applicable.
Collect damaged products and place them in the designated area.
Relay customer requests to the immediate supervisor.
Attend scheduled meetings and participate actively.
Attend training sessions.
Follow company and customer safety guidelines and policies.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
