About The Position

This position is responsible for displaying beverage merchandise on shelves, showcases, and on the sales floor of retail stores. The Merchandiser will arrange products according to a prearranged plan or their own ideas approved by management, place price and descriptive signs, and transfer product from customer stock rooms to floor displays to comply with "Sell By" dates, maximize product in store and minimize product in stock room. The role also involves ordering product for assigned accounts to ensure no out-of-stocks conditions, originating display ideas or following suggestions from management, and communicating effectively daily with key store personnel on any service or product needs. Additionally, the Merchandiser will construct or assemble display aids from company-provided Point of Sale (POS) materials. Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.

Requirements

Ability to transfer product from customer stock room to floor displays.
Ability to order product for assigned accounts.
Ability to construct or assemble display aids from company provided Point of Sale (POS) materials.
Effective communication skills for daily interaction with key store personnel.

Responsibilities

Displays beverage merchandise on shelves, showcases, and on sales floor of retail store.
Arranges products according to prearranged plan or own ideas approved by management.
Places price and descriptive signs on backdrop, fixtures, merchandise, or floor.
Transfers product from customer stock room to floor displays to comply with "Sell By" dates, maximize product in store and minimize product in stock room.
Orders product for assigned accounts in accordance with established procedures to ensure no out-of-stocks conditions.
Originates display ideas or follows suggestions or schedule of Merchandiser Manager and Sales Manager.
Communicate effectively daily with key store personnel on any service or product needs.
Constructs or assembles display aids from company provided Point of Sale (POS) materials.
Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.
