About The Position

Imperial Beverage is hiring a part-time Merchandiser to service assigned stores in the Marquette, Michigan area. Merchandisers use their own vehicle to travel to local stores and are reimbursed for driving. The role involves stocking and organizing beer, wine, and spirits so products are available and ready for customers. Candidates should be comfortable with physical work, enjoy organizing, and take pride in their work. The position requires a vehicle, a cell phone, and availability Tuesday, Friday, and on Saturday and Sunday mornings every other week.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation and access to a personal vehicle.
• Reliable personal cell phone capable of receiving calls and text messages; the phone number must be available internally.
• Access to daily emails and a smart device for tracking mileage and hours.
• Attention to detail.
• Must live in or near the posted region.
• Ability to lift and/or move an average of 30 pounds repetitively.
• Availability Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday and Sunday mornings every other week.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review emails and deliveries to create the day’s schedule.
• Arrive at assigned stores after delivery drivers have made deliveries.
• Greet the store manager and check in when needed.
• Review store invoices to identify delivered beverages.
• Stock shelves and coolers, rotating fresh product.
• Organize products remaining in the backstock area.
• Assemble product displays as needed.
