About The Position

The Merchandiser presents products to attract consumers at customer retail locations and services and maintains multiple bulk accounts. The role involves merchandising approved products and packages using safe handling techniques and following quality guidelines. The Merchandiser follows plan sets and planograms and communicates with store management and cross-functional personnel. The position is based in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and pays $181.00–$182.00 per day, plus mileage reimbursement. The route typically starts between 5:00 and 6:00 a.m. and continues until completion. The employee must be able to work weekends and receives two days off during the week, which vary by store route.

Responsibilities

Fill, merchandise, and rotate products on displays and shelves according to procedures and special programs.
Physically move products from the backroom and place them on display.
Create and distribute point-of-sale materials on displays and shelves where permitted.
Fill and merchandise Fastlane merchandisers and vendors, and check vendors for proper operation.
Organize and maintain the backroom by stacking and arranging products by package and flavor.
Arrange the return of empty pallets and shells, damaged products, and out-of-date products to the branch.
Build business relationships with store personnel through routine follow-up on requests, proactive pricing, discussion of special programs, new opportunities, and upcoming activities.
