About The Position

Capital Beer & Beverage is seeking a Merchandiser to perform merchandising activities within an assigned territory. The role includes rotating and stocking products, maintaining display presentation and execution, installing point-of-sale displays, and constructing displays requested by the sales team or retail customers. The Merchandiser may also expedite product delivery at the request of Capital management. The role requires regular, ongoing onsite presence, including at non-company locations where the company conducts business, for most of the working time according to the schedule set by supervisors and/or branch management.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent, plus 2 years of experience.
Ability to secure and maintain a valid driver’s license and auto-liability insurance in accordance with state laws.

Nice To Haves

Experience with beverage product sales or in the hospitality industry.
Presentation skills to effectively communicate, update, persuade, and/or facilitate discussions with all levels of management.
Interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, other business areas, and government agencies as required.
Demonstrated high proficiency in oral and written communication.
Planning and organizational skills to coordinate workload across multiple assignments.

Responsibilities

Assist the sales team with maintaining positive relationships with retail customers.
Perform merchandising and stocking activities within an assigned territory.
Ensure all company products are properly displayed.
Complete stock rotations, shelf resets, and backroom duties as needed.
Install point-of-sale materials as directed.
Expedite delivery of product.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
