About The Position

WP Beverages is a leading distributor of iconic beverage brands such as Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Gatorade, Lipton, Starbucks, and Rockstar. This role involves professionally executing marketing strategies, ordering, and maintaining service levels within assigned accounts. The primary focus is on safely and efficiently managing stock levels on shelves, in coolers, displays, and back rooms, while also pursuing incremental space for products. The merchandiser will collaborate with team members to minimize out-of-date product and damage, and work as part of an "account team" to identify opportunities and resolve issues. The position is centered on profitable growth through sales, efficient distribution, superior customer service, and innovative customer-focused marketing programs.

Requirements

High School diploma
Able to speak, read and write in English.
High attention to detail
Able to work with minimal supervision.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends when needed.
Valid state Driver's License
Maintain personal auto insurance.
Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
Professional appearance and attitude.
Able to lift 50 pounds repetitively from floor to waist, chest or shoulder height; pulling cart with load weighing up to 220 pounds.
Authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
Able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English at a level necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.

Responsibilities

Professionally execute Pepsi Cola's marketing strategies while ordering and maintaining proper service levels within assigned accounts.
Safely, effectively and efficiently maintain the stock levels of the shelf, cooler, displays, back rooms and point of purchase areas.
Aggressively pursue incremental shelf, display and cooler space.
Work with all team members to minimize out of date product and damage within assigned accounts.
Work as part of the "account team", proactively communicating with other team members to recognize opportunities and resolve issues.
Focus on profitable growth through the sale and efficient distribution of our refreshing beverages, superior customer service and innovative customer focused marketing programs.
