Merchandiser
About The Position
Jacent is seeking a Merchandiser to work in stores in their local community. Merchandisers place products, build displays, and work with store personnel. The role involves cultivating relationships with in-store management, executing merchandising resets, building retail displays, merchandising impulse items on clip strips and J-hooks, and implementing plan-o-grams. The position offers daytime hours and a predictable schedule of 10–15 hours per week. The listed pay is $17.50. Paid training, mileage and travel time between stores, cell phone reimbursement, and advancement opportunities are offered. Candidates should reside within 20 miles of Knoxville, Iowa.
Requirements
- Be a self-starter and quick learner who enjoys working independently and in a team setting.
- Be comfortable working in changing environments.
- Meet the physical requirements of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation: standing and walking for 3–8 hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, and crouching, bending, twisting, and performing repetitive hand movements.
- Possess excellent organizational skills.
- Have strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with business partners.
- Reside within 20 miles of Knoxville, Iowa.
