About The Position

Eagle Distributing is Nebraska's premier beverage distributor delivering a diverse portfolio of products. Family-owned and operated since 2001, the company has grown to 6 warehouses servicing over 1800 customers across 62,000 square miles, with a team of over 150 employees. The Sales Support Rep, reporting to the Sales Support Manager, is responsible for meeting all sales and merchandising standards in assigned accounts. This includes on-premises line cleaning, event delivery, and customer resets. The role is considered the first step towards becoming a beverage sales representative.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in retail preferred.
• Ability to read and write at a 12th grade level.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise and rotate product based on date codes and demand.
• Sell and build displays for large retail accounts.
• Assist with store resets, learning planograms, and customer buying patterns.
• Sell draught products and service systems for bars and restaurants.
• Monitor and report all competitive activity.
• Sell in new products and increase distribution of high-end, primary, and secondary brands.
• Ensure all Point of Sell (POS) is clean, functional, and updated. Remove outdated POS and repair permanent signs.
• Fulfill pre-established sales objectives and implement company marketing programs at the retail level.
• Survey and influence retail accounts to ensure a competitive edge in dominant POS placement, price points, shelf space, and product location.
• Execute special assignments and impact selling objectives as assigned by management.
• Work with sales and delivery teams to meet objectives.
• Cover sales routes as a relief salesperson.
