About The Position

Footprint Solutions is hiring a part-time Merchandiser to independently service retail locations within an assigned area. The role ensures that products and displays meet client standards through stocking, organizing merchandise, updating planograms, completing audits and reports, and supporting store refreshes and resets. The route typically averages 5 hours per week and may average 10 hours per week in some areas. The job includes service at multiple retail locations in the Sacramento and North Highlands, California area. The position offers a flexible schedule in the employee’s local market, starting pay of $17.00 per hour, pay for travel time between locations, mileage reimbursement, early wage access, and a 401(k) with company match when eligible. No experience is required; virtual training and ongoing support are provided. The role requires reliable transportation, use of a mobile device for reporting, and the ability to work independently and communicate professionally with store personnel and the District Manager.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including communication by text and/or email.
Ability to work independently and efficiently while providing accurate and timely reporting via a mobile device.
Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented.
Able to effectively communicate with store personnel.
Ability to understand, interpret, and carry out written instructions.
Able to move throughout assigned work areas to complete merchandising tasks.
Ability to consistently access product on shelving from ground level to 5 feet high and occasionally up to 6 feet high.
Ability to accurately inspect merchandise, displays, and product placement.
Ability to consistently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Previous merchandising or retail experience is a plus.
Related experience in retail, customer service, merchandising, stocking, inventory, delivery services, gig work, part-time employment, or dollar store retail.

Responsibilities
