About The Position

Jacent is hiring a part-time Merchandiser to work in local retail stores, placing products, building displays, and working with store personnel. The role offers daytime hours and a predictable schedule for approximately six hours per week. Paid training is provided, and mileage and travel time between stores are paid, with cell phone reimbursement and advancement opportunities also available. The position is based within 20 miles of Brookings, Oregon, and may also service Crescent City, California.

Requirements

• Be a self-starter and quick learner who enjoys working independently and in a team setting.
• Be comfortable working in changing environments.
• Meet the physical requirements of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation: standing and walking for 3–8 hours; lifting up to 50 pounds; crouching, bending, twisting, and repetitive hand movements.
• Possess excellent organizational skills.
• Communicate effectively and build relationships with business partners.
• Reside within 20 miles of Brookings, Oregon, or be able to service Crescent City, California.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with in-store management.
• Execute merchandising resets.
• Build retail displays.
• Merchandise impulse items on clip strips and J-hooks.
• Implement plan-o-grams.
