About The Position

The Merchandiser ensures Swire Coca-Cola customer locations are properly stocked and products are rotated according to company standards. The role maintains back rooms, beverage sections, displays, coolers, and other points of availability to support customer satisfaction, while developing and preserving customer relationships and representing Swire Coca-Cola. The schedule is 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., five 8-hour shifts, with weekends required and overtime as needed. The stated pay is $21.00 per hour, with a possible bonus structure dependent on role and pay influenced by location and relevant qualifications. The role involves local store routes and use of a reliable personal vehicle to travel between stores; employees are not responsible for transporting company products.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license required; driving record must meet Swire’s vehicle policy requirements.
• Ability to use a reliable vehicle to travel to stores within assigned routes and maintain business-use vehicle insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as required by business needs.

Responsibilities

• Use technology and applications as required throughout the day.
• Clean and organize shelves and/or aisles daily using customer cleaning equipment to provide a safe environment for consumers.
• Restock coolers, displays, racks, and shelves daily, with labels facing outward.
• Rotate products using a first-in, first-out system to help ensure product quality.
• Build displays and promotional items throughout assigned stores by moving, stacking, and building items according to instructions and the schedule set by the supervisor and store management.
• Maintain and organize back rooms and back-stock areas so they are safely accessible.
• Prepare credited products unfit for sale for return within assigned stores daily.
• Attend meetings as assigned and assist with special projects and events.
• Travel to stores within assigned routes using a reliable vehicle.
