About The Position

Franz Family Bakery is seeking a part-time Sales Merchandiser to maintain bakery products in assigned stores in Anchorage, Alaska. The role helps ensure customers have the best products available on store shelves. Duties include stocking shelves, rotating outdated products to maintain freshness, facing products for an appealing presentation, and keeping assigned bakery displays neat and orderly. The position requires handling bakery products and trays, pushing and pulling racks, and using writing utensils. Additional duties may be assigned. The schedule will be discussed during the interview; availability is required between 5 a.m. and 7 p.m. on weekdays and weekends.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
At least 1 year of experience in a similar merchandising position.
Must have a solid work history and a proven record of reliability, safety, and a positive attitude.
Must be available to work between 5 a.m. and 7 p.m. on weekdays and weekends; schedule to be discussed at interview.
Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, and perform frequent to constant handling activities.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and maneuver large, bulky product racks.
Must be highly organized, work at a fast pace, and communicate effectively with people inside and outside the organization.
Must pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, math test, physical, and physical capacity test.
Must have a clean driving record and provide a current driving abstract from the department of licensing if called for an interview.
Must uphold Franz core values and demonstrate a positive, safe work ethic.
