About The Position

Alliance Beverage is hiring a part-time Merchandiser for the Lansing area. Merchandisers travel to assigned accounts to stock, rotate, and face beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverage products. The role involves working independently while coordinating with sales representatives, customers, and other employees. It suits someone who enjoys moving between locations and varied daily tasks. Requirements

Valid driver's license.
Smartphone.
Adequate auto insurance; required coverage details are provided during the interview process.
Reliable personal transportation for traveling between stores.
Stable work history and a proven track record of reliability, given the approximately two-week training period.
Ability to work independently while being part of a larger team.
Customer service and problem-solving skills.
Ability to repeatedly bend and lift product cases weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Travel to assigned accounts using a personal vehicle.
Stock, rotate, and face merchandise at assigned accounts.
Consolidate and organize products in backstock areas.
Work with Sales Representatives to build displays.
Communicate necessary information within the sales team to maintain proper product levels and prevent stockouts.
Repeatedly bend and lift products, including cases weighing up to 50 pounds.
Communicate with customers and other employees to address issues.
