About The Position

This position is a full-time position with a varied five day workweek and is required to work weekends and most holidays. Start time for Merchandisers can be as early as 5:00 in the morning depending on the route and store requirements.

Requirements

• Excellent customer relations skills
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend, move and climb in high, low and tight areas to merchandise shelves, coolers, and stock displays
• Observe safety and security procedures
• Able to use equipment and materials properly
• Able to regularly lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Able to push/pull heavy loads
• Able to maneuver a dolly effectively
• Must be at least 18 years of age (21 years of age preferred)
• Valid Mississippi driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Must have your own vehicle with the required insurance (you will be reimbursed through MOTUS program)
• Must have your own mobile device and will be required to use business applications (you will receive a partial reimbursement monthly)
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Restocks shelves, coolers, displays end caps, and other areas of the store.
• Maintains proper rotation of current stock to ensure product freshness.
• Merchandises shelves and displays with signage, POS display items, and pricing.
• Confers with their Account Representative to resolve customer problems and discuss competitive market activity.
• Maintains product knowledge of all brands and packages that company carries.
• Performs any additional duties and special tasks assigned by Sales Management.
