About The Position

Footprint Solutions is hiring a part-time Merchandiser to independently service retail locations in an assigned territory. The role ensures products and displays meet client standards through merchandising tasks, store support, and accurate reporting. The route typically averages 5 hours per week, and in some areas averages 10 hours per week. Locations listed for the route are 306 Avenue D, Abernathy, TX 79311, and 1006 S Aspen Ave, Lubbock, TX 79403. The Merchandiser works independently in stores and communicates directly with a District Manager. Footprint Solutions has partnered with leading retailers for more than 20 years to provide merchandising, installation, and in-store support services. No experience is required; virtual training and ongoing support are provided. The position offers a flexible schedule in the local market.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Have reliable transportation and be able to travel within the assigned territory.
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, including text and/or email communication.
Be able to work independently and efficiently while providing accurate, timely reports via a mobile device.
Be professional, dependable, and detail-oriented.
Be able to communicate effectively with store personnel.
Be able to understand, interpret, and carry out written instructions.
Be able to move throughout assigned work areas to complete merchandising tasks.
Be able to consistently access products on shelving from ground level to 5 feet high, and occasionally up to 6 feet high.
Be able to accurately inspect merchandise, displays, and product placement.
Be able to consistently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Previous merchandising or retail experience is a plus.
Related experience in retail, customer service, merchandising, stocking, inventory, delivery services, gig work, part-time employment, or dollar store retail.

Responsibilities

Stock shelves and organize merchandise.
Update planograms and product displays.
Complete audits, surveys, and reporting.
Assist with store refreshes and resets.
Apply security tags and labels.
Take photos and submit reports through a mobile app.
Build professional relationships with store associates and management.
Communicate directly with the District Manager while working independently in stores.
