About The Position

Admiral Beverage is seeking a Merchandiser to display beverage merchandise on shelves, showcases, and on the sales floor of retail stores. This role involves arranging products according to a plan, placing price and descriptive signs, and transferring product from stock rooms to floor displays to manage inventory and ensure product freshness. The Merchandiser will also order product for assigned accounts to prevent out-of-stocks, develop display ideas, and communicate effectively with store personnel regarding service and product needs. Additionally, the role includes constructing display aids from Point of Sale materials. Requirements

  • Displays beverage merchandise on shelves, showcases, and on sales floor of retail store.
  • Arranges products according to prearranged plan or own ideas approved by management.
  • Places price and descriptive signs on backdrop, fixtures, merchandise, or floor.
  • Transfers product from customer stock room to floor displays to comply with "Sell By" dates, maximize product in store and minimize product in stock room.
  • Orders product for assigned accounts in accordance with established procedures to ensure no out-of-stocks conditions.
  • Constructs or assembles display aids from company provided Point of Sale (POS) materials.
  • Communicate effectively daily with key store personnel on any service or product needs.
  • Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.
