About The Position

Power Play Distributors is a DSD (Direct Store Delivery) company based in Bolingbrook, IL that is responsible for the distribution of premium frozen pizza products throughout the Midwestern states. This Part-Time, Non-Exempt position involves performing duties to merchandise products and ensure all products are fully stocked, rotated, and properly displayed. The role requires working from verbal orders and written procedure documents, fostering business relationships with store personnel, removing product from backroom freezers, and moving it to the sales floor using a cart. Responsibilities include filling, merchandising, and rotating products on display and the shelf according to procedures and special programs, organizing and maintaining the back room, and maintaining standard reports of cases and hours worked at each store. The merchandiser will also communicate issues and/or concerns to Sales Representatives and/or the District Manager.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid Drives License
  • Valid Car Insurance
  • Lift/carry up to 25 to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Fosters business relationship with store personnel through routine follow-up on requests, proactive pricing, special programs, new opportunities, and upcoming activities discussions.
  • Remove product from backroom freezers and, using cart, move to sales floor.
  • Fills, merchandises, and rotates products on display and the shelf according to procedures and special programs.
  • Organizes and maintains back room by stacking and arranging product by case and SKU, arranging the return of empty pallets, damaged and out of date product to the branch.
  • Maintain standard reports of cases and hours worked at each store.
  • Communicate issues and/or concerns to Sales Representatives and/or District Manager.
