About The Position

This is an on-site, full-time, non-exempt position that will service product in multiple stores and travel between them. The Merchandiser Lead will be responsible for merchandising products within a retail environment, safely and efficiently replenishing product, and potentially assembling shelves/racks and display cases. The role also involves team leadership, including training new Merchandisers and potentially backing up the Supervisor. The position requires adherence to company attendance policies, reliable transportation, and the ability to use company-required mobile devices and software. Employment is contingent upon a background check, a 4-panel drug test (excluding THC), and MVR clearance.

Requirements

  • 6 months-1 year merchandising experience required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and be detail-oriented.
  • Professional demeanor.
  • Adherence to the company’s attendance policy.
  • Reliable transportation for travel between accounts.
  • Ability to use Movista and/or other company-required mobile devices.
  • Personal cell phone and mobile device required.
  • Experience with Word, Excel, the internet, and email.
  • Employment contingent on background check, 4 panel drug test (does not include THC), and MVR clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Assist with sets and resets.
  • Train new hires.
  • Remain up-to-date on all planogram (POG)/flowchart changes.
  • Regular communication with Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Merchandise products by applying appropriate store and/or corporate guidelines.
  • Safely and efficiently replenish product.
  • Assemble shelves/racks and display cases following measurement guidelines.
  • Service all stores as scheduled within the allotted hours provided by Supervisor.
  • Seek prior approval from Supervisor before working outside of scheduled hours.
  • Contact Supervisor before working more than 10 hours in a workday.
  • Accurately record work hours and other company-related information using designated systems.
  • Discuss duties requested by store personnel not listed herein with Supervisor before performing those duties.
  • Train Merchandisers on appropriate merchandising techniques.
  • Back up to Supervisor and fill in Supervisor duties as needed.
  • Approve payroll and run a variety of reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
