About The Position

This is an on-site position that will service product in multiple stores and travel between them. The role is Full-Time, Non-Exempt and reports to the Supervisor of Merchandising Servicing. The average hours per week are 32 to 40. Travel is expected up to 100% of the time to cover the territory. The role involves merchandising work within a retail environment to effectively merchandise products by applying appropriate store and/or corporate guidelines. This includes safely and efficiently replenishing product, and potentially assembling shelves/racks and display cases following measurement guidelines. The Merchandiser Lead is responsible for servicing all stores as scheduled within the allotted hours, seeking prior approval from the Supervisor before working outside of scheduled hours, and contacting the Supervisor before working more than 10 hours in a workday. Accurate recording of work hours and other company-related information using designated systems is required. Duties requested by store personnel not listed herein should be discussed with the Supervisor before performing them. Additionally, the role involves team leadership, which may include training Merchandisers on appropriate merchandising techniques, backing up the Supervisor and filling in for Supervisor duties, and potentially approving payroll and running reports. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • 6 months-1 year merchandising experience required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to multitask and detail-oriented.
  • Professional demeanor.
  • Adherence to the company’s attendance policy.
  • Reliable transportation for travel between accounts.
  • Able to use Movista and/or other company-required systems.
  • Possession of a personal cell phone and mobile device.
  • Experience with Word, Excel, the internet, and email.
  • Employment contingent on background check, 4 panel drug test (does not include THC), and MVR clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with planogram (POG)/flowchart execution.
  • Ability to communicate regularly with Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Merchandise products within a retail environment by applying appropriate store and/or corporate guidelines.
