About The Position

The Merchandise role is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers and applying customer experience principles. The associate helps maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment; follows operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards; and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The position is at Sierra Store 0233, 125 Northwest Loop 410 Ste 101, San Antonio, Texas. Starting pay is USD $13.00 to $13.50 per hour, with actual pay based on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards and help maintain the entire store.
Give and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Work in multiple store areas if cross-trained and needed by the business.
