Merchandise Warehouse Associate
About The Position
Nebraska Furniture Mart’s Display Team assembles, inspects, stocks, and builds product displays to attract customers. In this fast-paced team environment, the Merchandise Warehouse Associate supports store logistics and customer service by safely handling products, using mechanical aids, preparing merchandise for display, and handling sold products and customer pickups. The position requires flexibility to work night, weekend, and/or early morning hours based on business needs. The listed pay range is $18.58–$22.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Positive, upbeat attitude.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull the weights required under established departmental requirements.
- Ability to work night, weekend, and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
- Pre-employment screening includes, but is not limited to, a criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- Six months of labor or warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to use basic hand tools preferred.
Responsibilities
- Handle products safely to protect employees and prevent product damage.
- Safely use mechanical aids such as flats, dollies, box cutters, and power tools.
- Assemble and inspect products and display them on the sales floor.
- Remove sold products from the sales floor and wrap purchases for customer pickups.
