About The Position

As a Team Member in gift shops, rentals, Fast Lane, and animal attractions areas, you will help enhance Guests’ experiences by providing customer service and assisting with different aspects of their visits, including selling food for animal feeding. The role involves helping Guests with purchases, facilitating rentals, upselling products, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

The position requires standing and moving throughout a shift, and some locations may expose employees to outdoor weather. Employees may work near animals and must follow applicable safety protocols.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Basic computer literacy and the ability to complete transactions accurately.
• Able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Adhere to the dress code and appearance guidelines.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including cash-handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain responsibility for image quality.
• Upsell packages and programs offered by the park.
• Help souvenir-seeking Guests find appropriate keepsakes.
• Tell shoppers about add-on accessories to increase value for the Guest.
• Restock merchandise bins, shelves, fixtures, and displays.
• Operate POS registers and complete transactions accurately.
• Check in shipments of new merchandise.
• Keep aisles, countertops, and displays clean and presentable.
• Process sales of merchandise such as apparel, action figures, and fudge.
• Stay alert to store security and loss prevention.
• Assist Guests with purchases and rentals and sell food for animal feeding.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
