About The Position

Local Crafts is hiring a dependable, detail-oriented Merchandise Processor for its Fulfillment/Shipping team in Grand Prairie, Texas. This on-site role processes and ships customer orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining quality standards. The processor follows established procedures, identifies and reports issues before orders leave the building, and helps the team meet daily shipping volume. The current picking process is manual; RF scanners are not used.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling orders.
Ability to consistently follow picking, packing, and shipping procedures.
Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
Comfort with a manual picking process; RF scanners are not currently used.
Ability to walk and stand for most of an 8-hour shift.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; the company is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.

Responsibilities

Pick customer orders accurately using the current manual picking process.
Process, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
Check items and order details carefully to prevent picking and shipping errors.
Follow established picking, packing, and shipping procedures.
Identify and report discrepancies, damaged products, or order issues.
Maintain an organized work area and a steady pace to meet daily fulfillment needs.
Work safely and collaboratively to support timely order shipments.
