About The Position

This is a Temp-to-Hire position for a Merchandise Processor II, focusing on Assembly on the 1st shift in the Distribution Center. The role involves picking, packing, inspecting, and shipping merchandise to customers. It requires accurate data entry, meeting production and quality standards, and collaborating with team members on process improvements. The position also involves understanding team objectives, applying basic skills, reporting to work as scheduled, and assisting in other merchandise processing areas during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous PC/RF experience preferred; basic keyboarding skills; computer literate (knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word)
Distribution center experience preferred
Basic math skills
Good hand/eye coordination
Ability to work independently or in team as assigned
Quality conscious and detail oriented
Flexibility - may be required to work in other areas, overtime or extended hours
Understand and follow verbal or written instructions
Lift, carry, push, pull, reach, grasp, bend, stoop and climb for up to 10 hours at a time
Climb stairs
Stand for duration of work shift and walk/move continuously
Work around moving machinery/equipment
Adjust to climate changes; hot and cold extremes may occur in warehouse
Perform frequent/reoccurring movement (folding, hanging clothing, wrapping, packing, closing, ticketing, etc.)
Lift up to 50 pounds several times per day; weight requirements may vary within work areas; perform overhead lifting as necessary
Work comfortably on open platform/loft areas that are elevated to a second or third story level

Understands team objectives within assigned work area
Applies basic skills and procedural knowledge within assigned work area
Reports to work as scheduled, using time clock system
Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor
Must be able to assist in any area of merchandise processing during busy periods
