About The Position

The Merchandise Coordinator (Creative Services) role at Pottery Barn Teen is part of a collaborative team responsible for creating elevated imagery to showcase new and signature products. As part of Williams-Sonoma, Inc., this role supports the Photo Team in driving customer engagement and profitability through compelling visual storytelling. The Merchandise Coordinator will provide support for the Photo Producers and Photo Managers, acting as a liaison between merchants, the warehouse, and the photo teams in the studio. This role involves coordinating merchandise to ensure it is ready and available for photoshoots, and supporting Photo Managers in broader planning and process improvement with merchants. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, a great communicator, and quick, with a focus on operational excellence. This role requires being onsite at the Richmond Studios five days a week.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Previous experience in Photo Shoots preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Google Suite, SharePoint, Airtable, and Miro
  • Working knowledge of photo shoots and process
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Collaborative team player
  • Adaptable – responds well to changes in direction, timelines, and priorities

Responsibilities

  • Cross check sample information and track down issues to resolution
  • Prepare sample info notes for Photo Manager
  • Work closely with Warehouse Team to update sample orders and issues
  • Partner with Merchants for sample coordination
  • Spearhead meetings with Merchants for sample coordination and process improvements
  • Support Photo Producers with studio projects
