Michael Kors is looking for a Merchandise Coordinator to assist the buying team in all facets of managing a growing domestic and international business. We are seeking someone with strong analytical skills, creative problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
- Computer Literate – Strong Excel Skills
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in NYC office 3 days a week

Responsibilities
- Generate weekly selling reports and business analysis to track selling, identify key trends, maximize opportunities and minimize liabilities to achieve continued growth and profitability of the Outlet Footwear & Apparel business.
- Responsible for maintaining assortment sheets, pricing/conversion files, processing markdowns, reconciling on order, and sample management.
- Partner with cross functional teams to communicate monthly floorset details, markdowns and promotions and RTVs.
- Work closely with planning and allocations to execute merchandising strategy on by-door basis.
- Work with allocations team and store management to ensure assortments by door are maximized.
- Foster and leverage cross-functional relationships to create opportunities for the business – specifically partnering with Digital, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, and Global Merchandising.
- Communicate and partner with vendors on order placement and product maintenance.
- Responsible for execution of product knowledge and buy information to the stores.
- Partner with team to run analysis and prepare selling hindsight in order to help identify opportunities in the assortment.
- Attend and actively participate in market.
- Responsible for entering all market orders.
