About The Position

The Merchandise Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The role adheres to operational, merchandise, safety, and loss-prevention standards and may involve cross-training in multiple areas to support business needs. The position is seasonal and part-time.

Responsibilities

Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and provide correct change according to operating procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
Maintain organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the entire store.
Give and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and help maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
