About The Position

The Seasonal Merchandise Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The associate adheres to operational, merchandising, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained across multiple store areas to support business needs.

The role supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect; handles customer transactions and returns according to operating procedures; promotes credit and loyalty programs; and processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor. The associate participates in store recovery, maintains cleanliness and organization, supports shrink-reduction and safety programs, and follows applicable labor laws, policies, and procedures. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers.
• Role-model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.

• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to established procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participate in maintaining the entire store.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
