About The Position

The Seasonal Merchandise Associate at Sierra is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, embodying customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The associate follows operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role includes customer service, cashiering, merchandise processing and presentation, store recovery, cleanliness, safety awareness, and participation in shrink-reduction efforts. The associate supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect, and follows company procedures, policies, and applicable labor laws. This seasonal position is located at Sierra Store 0087 in Bedford, New Hampshire. The starting pay range is $14.50 to $15.00 per hour; actual starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. Benefits are subject to applicable plan or program terms and, for some benefits, service or hours requirements.

Responsibilities

Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participate in maintaining and cleaning the entire store.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
