About The Position
The Merchandise Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience through engaging with customers and applying customer experience principles. The role helps maintain a clean, organized, and safe store; follows operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards; and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The position is at Marshalls Store 0353 in Atlanta, Georgia, and is listed with a 12 p.m.–6 p.m. schedule. Starting pay is $13.25–$13.75 per hour, with actual pay determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities
- Role-model customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the merchandising philosophy, procedures, and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards, and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
