Seasonal Part-Time Merchandise Associate
About The Position
The Seasonal Part-Time Merchandise Associate at Marshalls is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The associate follows operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role includes customer service and checkout, supporting credit and loyalty programs, processing merchandise for the sales floor, maintaining merchandising standards, and participating in store recovery, cleanliness, safety, and shrink-reduction efforts. The associate supports a positive store culture and follows company procedures, policies, and applicable labor laws. The starting pay range is USD $14.00 to $14.50 per hour. Actual starting pay depends on factors including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. The position is seasonal and part-time, at Marshalls Store 1564 in Three Rivers, Michigan.

Responsibilities
- Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers and following customer experience principles.
- Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
