About The Position

The Merchandise Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers and following customer experience principles. The role also maintains a clean, organized, and safe store environment while adhering to operational, merchandising, and loss prevention standards. Associates may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The position is part-time and seasonal at the Marshalls store in Coral Springs, Florida. The starting pay range is USD $15.00 to $15.50 per hour. Actual starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

Role-model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain and clean the entire store.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
