Seasonal Part Time Merchandise Associate
About The Position
The Seasonal Part Time Merchandise Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The associate follows operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role includes serving customers at checkout, promoting credit and loyalty programs, processing merchandise, supporting merchandising and store recovery, and contributing to a positive, safe, and organized store environment. The associate follows company procedures, policies, and applicable labor laws and may perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
- Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards and help maintain cleanliness throughout the store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
