About The Position
Kendall Auto Group is seeking a Parts Person to join the Mercedes Benz and Sprinter parts department. This is a fast-paced environment serving technicians within the dealership and clients in the community by selling OEM and aftermarket parts. The dealership serves the local community and outlying rural communities with Mercedes parts and service needs, ensuring a consistent workload for parts personnel. Wages for the position on average are $50,000-$60,000 annually.
Requirements
- Automotive parts experience
- Inventory control experience
- Knowledge of electronic parts catalogues
- A valid driver license and acceptable driving record
- Experience with automotive parts or dealership experience
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to make recommendations
- Ability to prioritize items in order of importance
Nice To Haves
- Experience with manufacture specific catalogues is preferred
Responsibilities
- Selling parts to customers and vendors via phone, internet, and in person
- Maintaining inventory records
- Assisting customers and technicians with parts needs and obtaining parts information
- Creating invoices
- Processing orders, returns, and warranties
- Receiving parts from delivery
