About The Position
Kendall Auto Group is seeking a Parts Person to join the Mercedes Benz and Sprinter team. This role operates in a fast-paced environment, serving both internal technicians and external customers by selling OEM and aftermarket parts. The dealership has a large, loyal customer base and experienced service advisors, ensuring consistent work for parts personnel. The position involves significant computer and phone usage, as well as physical activity related to assisting customers and handling parts.
Requirements
- Automotive parts experience or dealership experience
- Experience with inventory control
- Knowledge of electronic parts catalogues
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to make recommendations
- Ability to prioritize items in order of importance
- A valid driver license and acceptable driving record
Nice To Haves
- Experience with manufacturer-specific catalogues is preferred
Responsibilities
- Selling parts to customers and vendors via phone, internet, and in person
- Maintaining inventory records
- Assisting customers and technicians with parts needs and obtaining parts information
- Creating invoices
- Processing orders, returns, and warranties
- Receiving parts from delivery
