About The Position
Our client is seeking an experienced MEP / Unit Superintendent to support a multi-building residential project in South Miami-Dade. This role is critical in driving MEP coordination, unit readiness, and turnover across a phased, large-scale site.
Requirements
- Strong field experience in MEP coordination and unit turnover on vertical construction projects
- Solid understanding of system startup, testing, commissioning, and closeout processes
- Ability to read plans, manage punch lists, and enforce subcontractor accountability
- Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools
Nice To Haves
- Experience with multifamily, condo, mixed-use, or hospitality projects preferred
- Florida experience preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead MEP coordination and unit sequencing from rough-in through turnover
- Coordinate all systems: plumbing, HVAC, electrical, fire protection, low-voltage, and life safety with interior finishes
- Drive above-ceiling readiness, inspections, testing, commissioning, and documentation
- Track unit progress, identify blockers early, and ensure milestone delivery dates are met
- Collaborate with PMs, consultants, and trade foremen to resolve field issues and coordination gaps
